Actually, the way he came out when they still dating was very funny. He just post this on Instagram. It says: "Happy Thanksgiving or to us Brazilians Ação de Graças". And at the botton: "Shocking a total of 0 people."
You see, he was a soap opera actor back then in Brazil and his sexuality was much speculated. He even had girlfriends. I'm very happy for him. He only felt comfortable coming out when his career became international. Brazil is not kind to gay people.
